KINGSWAY SPRING 2011

I consider it a blessing to be asked to work on a campaign-
little own to be asked back TWICE!
 Thank you to
Todd Sloane or TAG Advertising (fearless Art Director)
Klyment Tan (photographer)
Assistants: Bry Acheson and Corey Thompson

HERE IS KINSGWAY MALL 2011

This shoot has graced my top 10 shoots ever!
I love the unique backgrounds, the model choices and the wardrobe.
The Energy on set was so positive, upbeat, and every one involved was so great to be around.
Thank you to Aaron Pederson for the use of his Great Studio-Nicest Guy Ever Too.
ALL CAPITALS!

Ania B: Model Above
Wow! She also has a great blog GOOGLE HER!
Her down to earth go getr' attitude was so infectious.
almost every move was like she was telling a story.

The Models were all so down to earth with strong professional attitudes.
Liam: He understands how to move and keep the flow going for every look.
I don't get to work with male models very often-and when I do: I AM NOT USUALLY IMPRESSED!
Liam brought the perfect energy and he is just so aware of his body and how clothes move.

I am in love with this top that Riza is wearing! DROOL!
This girls is one of those girls that you can't help but absolutely want to fall in love with.
her kind demeanour makes you want to smile and the light ethereal background is perfect for her.

Courtney-has legs to kill for and hair Barbie wishes she has!
This statuesque humanitarian: is a breath of fresh air.
She walked in smiling from ear to ear and hugged me like we have worked together our whole lives.
MAJOR!

I think that any shoot-especially commercial needs a great team that understands patience is key.
That you will overlap in time.
But more than anything a GREAT TEAM:
All clothes pulled are available at Kingsway Mall

SUNDAY MUST HAVE! GREAT PHOTOGRAPHER FRIEND!

To have a vital carry in Makeup-or fashion, you need a very strong support system
Avenue Womans Spring 2010 What to Wear:

Makeup: Adrianne Thompson

Whether it be friends, family or mentors-if you don't have it your probably going to fail. All it takes is one person to push you and your passion to the next level.

A support system is someone who doesn't always agree with your work, someone who loves your work, someone who pushes your limits, someone who in general believes that your talent is needed and helps you explore that dream, but can also keep you grounded.

Today: My must have is Klyment Tan. A huge part of my career and the best part of my portfolio is thank full to Klyment. A photographer,Print maker and newly a men' wardrobe perfectionist, makeup artist and hairstylist. All around a great friends: his support has allowed me to shine a little bit more in Edmonton and has allowed me re-discover my passion for fashion.

Putting me behind the lens of a camera-I discovered I could be a pretty sick shooter. I suggest when you guys check out an area of the industry: CHECK IT ALL OUT! get dirty, you may discover something else that you love which is why I work in all facets of the industry: I LOVE IT ALL. HAIR MAKEUP AND WARDROBE!

Models: Sean and Victoria Stinchcombe for Kingsway Mall.

THANK YOU KLYMENT

The photos are just some of the amazing people that I get to work on with Klyment.
My other great photographer friends: I am not forgetting about you either

Curtis Comeau, Corey Thompson, Micheal Shandro, and Grant Olson.

Thank you all!

O.k. readers: So it is time to throw out the hate and keep the love.

Be thankful for your critics-but take it in slowly. what they may say now may feel like a sharp sword: SOMETIMES it takes a while to make sence.

Just like when know it all mom says: to eat your vegetables!

Happy shopping!

THIS JOE IS NOT SO AVERAGE! EDMONTON MAKEUP ARTIST

So, I am always looking for a great bargain.

My savy friend was checking out the JOE FRESH cosmetic line

sold at SUPERSTORE which had caught her attention:

WAS IT PRICE OR PACKAGING?

it is usually price than packaging.

Nothing is more than TWELVE DOLLARS CND. and the packaging is extremely simple.

one thing I wish is that their were some testers availble for the skin colors

and that there would have of been a waterproof or resistant mascara.

URGH!
I purchased four items:

Creme Foundation in LIGHT 3 and LIGHT 2.

Cheek tint in Peach.

Cheek tint in Nude.

I enjoyed the PINK and MILD YELLOW tones that have worked great for my models and my self.

My photographer KLYMENT TAN-uses such detailed cameras that pick up everything.
So my products must always look smooth.
I am not a fan of my work being airbrused-so I make sure my product finishes are optimal.

HD-THIS PRODUCT WAS SAFE! HOLLAR

  • Light 3 is great for my winter complexion-but now I am a summer.

the CHEEK TINTS are not too cremy the texture is like a melted crayon.

PEACH CHEEK TINT I used on my cousin Lily for her wedding day on her fair porceline skin giving her her that cranberry kissed winter glow. I used Nude-a highlighter that is shimmery and has a metalic like finish just above her cheek bones to fill out her face just a tad.

---The makeup lasted all night-although she has said that she has never had a problem with makeup coming off.

Below is a picture of Whitney J Grace an Extremely talented actor that I had the pleasure of working with for her latest head shot. Shot by Klyment Tan. I used Era Face R2, Joe fresh creme foundation Light 2, Lips by Rimmel, eyes Coastal Scents, Mascara YSL .
