Oh Toronto!

I made my move and I am here in Toronto, taking on the next step to pursuing this career of yes, no and  maybe.
Oh Toronto, the city that actually makes me question every turn and step that I make. Not because I don't think I am going to make it: in fact I know I am. It is just a matter of when. WHEN? it seems that is the biggest question written on everyone's wide eyes.
My heart and soul misses home, but I know that I have to be here. Not as fighter trying to make things work but as a human with a thirst to learn and there is just something about this city that makes me feel like I need to stay: when home is calling me back.
I should mention today is only day 8: HOW HIPSTER EMO OF ME.
My beauty review today is different from any post:
This today is inner beauty
In my time of getting ready to leave I learned quickly that I was wanted where ever I was. I have been longing for that forever (I think that all artist do) But, I met with an agent here and he said I did the the best and most I could do for the city I was in.
Do you ever feel that when you are getting ready to leave for anything life gives you all the things that your looking for and makes your question leaving or staying?
----My cousin and I were talking and she said it best " you put the ball in motion and that is why these things are happening, so your meant to go and just keep that ball rolling." I do feel that the ball has stopped, I guess it eventually will. I just have to try harder.
----My next advice is "good things fall apart so better things can fall together"
Be humble and be kind to all.  If the kindness and support of friends and family were not around I don't know if I would make it.  It could be as simple as a friend liking a status on facebook to something like a friend spending the day with me to show me around the city during her busy schedule.------ I am so sorry to any of those that have ever felt neglected because of my schedule,
My last piece of beauty advice came from one of my best friends: " You can't move on until you accept what you have." This one took a while, it is one thing to know the circumstances or gifts that your given-and another to completely accept what you have.
Thanks for your time

I will say it over and over again-HYDRATE.

Hydrating your skin will give the appearance of a softer more radiant look and hydrated hair will move better and have a beautiful non greasy shine. We are not all that lucky to born with it thank goodness there is the mentality "IF  YOU DON'T HAVE IT, BUY IT."

Lets get into the beauty rehab because there are products that can save us and get you ready for the sexy that is someone one NEW YEARS.

Here are my picks:

Great for some many reasons. This 10 in 1 is super light
doesn't get greasy, or creasey and reduces the amount of foundation you will wear on top.
My assistant and amazing makeup artist Krystle Ash turned me on to this gift.
It hides pores instantly and there are no parabens or dyes  (click the pic for more info)
for those that like a glow-this wont give it to you but it wont make your skin dull.

My favourite is the mint and bergamont.
I have a bottle beside my bed, one in my bag and mini one when I fly.
I spoke with Patricia Lee Official Makeup Artist for Shu Uemura North America
and she shared that this gem can be used to refresh makeup-you just spray it on and that is it. no pressing or dabbing.
My personal favorite is that-I truly believe that this is the only facial mist that I will use due to the fact that I see a difference in the radiance of my skin with in days of using it.
The mist is fine-so I don't feel like someone is using a hose on my face.

Sebastian Drench Shampoo and Conditioner
This super rich high lather shampoo shouldn't scare the finest of hair.
I find it a medium weight, with incredible but realistic shine.
The fragrance is delightful but light and the conditioner is every tangles worst night mare.
Curly hair wearers can run to this guy cause frizz is sometimes known as curls looking for moisture.
Available at Ivory Noir

Hairdresser's invisible oil
BREATHE! Yes that is what your hair will do. Add it to your conditioner for extra hydration or to your blow dry for flickable softness. my favourite is I add it Bumble and Bumbles; Gelac because I still love that Wet Steele look on my guys rocking the dapper RAT PACK look but it softens it so that there babes can still get a hold of those locks.
available at Mousy Browns

Move Over Silk: There is a better Fabric in Season.
Gone are the moments of animal prints (for now)
Here are the days when beauty plays with Fabrics.
Visually and Physically fabrics are making big pop ups in our routines.

Most likely the best sponge applicator in the world.
Make sure you get the one with the cleanser-
soak it in water and use this big boy to apply your makeup.
using a wet sponge helps your makeup look hydrated.
using a wet sponge with a velvety finish helps you makeup
feel hydrated and gives a better coverage.
The TIP: is great for concealer as well.

Great for the fashion forward with a secret budget.
Always coming out with sexy colors.
These Pumps make an appearance in so many shades.
Get the Suede Spray.

CIATE: from Sephora
Kind of my motivator for this entry.
Apply your polish, sprinkle on the velvety powder and dust off.
hint: do it on top of paper so you can keep using the same powder.
Dries quick, looks sexy, and a great conversation starter.
want something different: This is it.

Mens Fashion has even adopted this fabric.
Dawning some brilliant colors, I have these shoes in the color shown above and
a bowling shoe in baby pink and Dove grey.

What fabric is next?

: Tom Ford
the name and the brand are the new noun for class and sex.

When I think of sexy makeup it defiantly changes as the seasons progress or De-gress.
But: one thing always stays.
simply put: Shade and Illuminate.
Although the properties of his products are rich in high quality ingredients
that leave your skin feeling hydrated, its the luxurious name attached to the beautiful packaging that drew me in. Dark masculine casing with a delicate yet bold golden flash.

I spoke to my favourite girl Mellisa at Neiman Marcus Las Vegas who gushed for this product.
And I new it was meant to be in the Modest Kit.
Shown above is Shade and Illuminate Intensity 1.
the fairest of the skin can wear either, but the darkest may have to rely on Intensity 2.
Intensity 1: has a golden base while Intensity 2 sits in the red family.
The Shade: easily blendable great looking on all skin tones
what lacks is the easy-ness to build with it. Because you can over blend,
I have had to use 1 and 2-to create a stronger blended look.
I recommend not using the same brush or fingers to use the highlighter.
The highlighter shows a gleam in the light-almost resembling the dewiness of sweat
or better put: HOT SEX. above the lip and down the nose to create a come ravage me look.

Should you buy this: Yes, its a cream contour that blends and is easy to not over use.
Where-a cream foundation may not be as forgiving and to opaque.
But: BUT: but:

TOM FORD BRUSHES: are the essence of luxury.
Want someone to love your face and hug it velvety gently butterfly kisses.
Well-than his brushes are what you need.
I purchased the blush brush: strongly packed for a dense color application and the shade and illuminate brush for control. I love them both-although the Armani Blender Brush is what I use to blend the shades together.

If your looking for a high pigment shadow: check his out too.
Everything 70$ each is what I paid.
Happy Shopping and Thank you Mellisa at Neiman Marcus Las Vegas.

Winter has arrived!
Obvious? if not-send me a plane ticket to where ever you are.
My view right now-is a blanket of white snow
that blanket is a foot deep covering my car
by the way: I just got home six hours ago!
So I am waiting for that ticket!

Winter brings along with it some hair wounds!
It loves to make your hair weak and stressed.
Winter loves to drink all the moisture from your hair and skin
Winter loves loves loves to see your ends SNAP!

BUT! The Beauty Gods came together and had a meeting
in a steam room, and hair mask followed by Bubbly and Grapes.

Here are the following items that rescue me from STRESSED hair.
Just a note:
Use them every day, or as recommended.

The Famous Two Phase One Step Treatments are amazing
time savours-they go in towel dried hair and you feel the
silky magic work instantly.
I give the Rich Repair and The Highlights Serum
a nod to amazing-because of their power.
The Rich Repair is exactly what the name says-
but it is not heavy and it wont make you oily.
The Highlights will help make actual highlights in your hair a little more sparkly.
They both help bounce out UV rays, and protect against dryness and hydration loss.
will only cost you 15 with any hair service.

Ahhhh finally something for the scalp/exclusively.
Moroccan Oil, Dry-No More Professional
Scalp Treatment.
in one treatment my itchy dry irritated scalp
I saved the Best For Last!
Bumble and Bumble have created my god in a baby bottle.
Great things do come in small packages.
Two pumps before bedtime: and as the instructions say
for those of use who are really thin or fine-use twice a day.
In a week my hair strands have become thicker and stronger.
in 6 weeks-my hair has really proven that it loves this product!
MY hair doesn't grow past a certain point because it breaks:
It didn't break!

There comes a time in every ones life, when they start to feel like a vacuum sucked all the moisture out of their lips and replaced the what should be delicate skin with paint peeling, excruciating dry lips.

These Balms should be apart of your arsenal for combating winter, signs of aging and just gross feeling lips.

Painful? yes! unsightly? Duh! Fixable and Preventable? But of course!

Here are the top three lip balms that grace my lips and any model that I come in contact with.

25 Holt Renfrew
The ultimate balm that doesn't stop working.
This product can be worn at night as a hydrating mask for the lips.
It actually teaches your lips how to hydrate it self.
The fragrance and taste are minimal and pleasant.
medium to natural shine-safe for men.

EOS Lip Balm
3-5 dollars.
Those cute little guys are called the smooth spheres, although I prefer the Smooth Sticks.
Organic and gluten free, my no worry lip balm has a great taste and scent.
Also Petrolatum free-YES! FINALLY!
A lip balm that actually works with out being all jelly, and glossy.
I purchased this product at Shades Of Grey, although you can get it at shoppers drugs smart as well

Khiels Lip Balm SPF 15
17 dollars.
Super smooth, extreme-moisture that does seem to wear off easy.
but this little guy goes a long way the screw on lid make life easy knowing how secure it is.
High shine-that fades. So Guys need to apply a few minutes before hand because this product will shine.
The SPF is sexy, and needed especially in this time of the year when the sun is reflected on to the skin.
