When I think of sexy makeup it defiantly changes as the seasons progress or De-gress.

But: one thing always stays.

CONTOURING and HIGHLIGHTING.

simply put: Shade and Illuminate.

Although the properties of his products are rich in high quality ingredients

that leave your skin feeling hydrated, its the luxurious name attached to the beautiful packaging that drew me in. Dark masculine casing with a delicate yet bold golden flash.

I spoke to my favourite girl Mellisa at Neiman Marcus Las Vegas who gushed for this product.

And I new it was meant to be in the Modest Kit.

Shown above is Shade and Illuminate Intensity 1.

the fairest of the skin can wear either, but the darkest may have to rely on Intensity 2.

Intensity 1: has a golden base while Intensity 2 sits in the red family.

The Shade: easily blendable great looking on all skin tones

what lacks is the easy-ness to build with it. Because you can over blend,

I have had to use 1 and 2-to create a stronger blended look.

I recommend not using the same brush or fingers to use the highlighter.

The highlighter shows a gleam in the light-almost resembling the dewiness of sweat

or better put: HOT SEX. above the lip and down the nose to create a come ravage me look.

Should you buy this: Yes, its a cream contour that blends and is easy to not over use.

Where-a cream foundation may not be as forgiving and to opaque.

But: BUT: but:

TOM FORD BRUSHES: are the essence of luxury.

Want someone to love your face and hug it velvety gently butterfly kisses.

Well-than his brushes are what you need.

I purchased the blush brush: strongly packed for a dense color application and the shade and illuminate brush for control. I love them both-although the Armani Blender Brush is what I use to blend the shades together.

It is time that we address this on going battle.

Oily hair-and those awful bangs that we love

that look like we drenched it in lip gloss and shine spray and bacon fat.

DISGUSTING!

Myth: I have to wash my hair every day because it is soooooooo OILY!

You oily hair/scalp people need to STOP THIS!

washing your hair everyday to remove the oil only teaches your scalp to produce more.

you need to start by skipping every other day and eventually every 3rd day wash.

Our scalps believe that it needs to produce that oil to nourish our hair-so removing it suggest that it is not getting any nutrition so it produces it at twice the speed. Slowing the shampoo process down teaches our scalp that it is going to be healthy.

I do believe that there are better items out there than

VASELINE.

Smooth even-foundation is key

make-sure your blush and your lips are not too bold

Unless: you are very dark-

-Add a gold highlighter to your rose colored blush

as for your lips keep it simple: Not clear but Neutral:

Benetint is my goddess for nearly nude lips with a hint of color.

EYES:

Don't just add black!

You will want to add complimentary colors

like smudging an army green next to the eye lash line

or a smoky silver or purple to the bottom lashes.

Smudge is in-so experiment.

SHAPE:

A lot of people just create one shape when creating a smokey eye.

The cat eye.

I recommend that you create one strong base shape:

like ovaling out your eye shadow.

Than taking a softer color-

and than adding it in creating that cat eye

Thus creating:

I was flying about a total of 14 hours this week: and under my eye area was getting so dry and irritated.

I generally use the Shu Uemura Hydrability Eye Gel-which I do love, love, love!

But I knew there was something else out their.

For my skin type: Dehydrated, not too sensitive, combination and active I need a light weight product that does not leave a residue on my skin-and feels like my skin takes a large drink of water.

HERE'S THE SCOOP:
TIME: 6:00 Vancouver B.C.
Location: Downtown-Sephora Pacific Centre
WHY: the skin under my eyes were so damn dry and itchy: but not flaky!
-----I ran into Sephora although Holt Renfrew was across the street I could of grabbed my Shu Eye Gel and been fine but I needed more-I needed a change.
This wonderful Japanese or Korean Goddess Maka ( I am totally butchering her name)-was trying to help my find an eye gel that was hydrating, would help with
FIRST SIGNS OF AGING, has NO CAFFEINE, NO WHEAT AND NO SOY
She found this cucumber rich eye cream:
I put it on with the sample she put on finger-about 30 minutes into meeting me and as she was busy pumping some product into a jar for me: MY EYES FELL IN LOVE.
-So light weight, so hydrating and so heavenly.
-Dark lines under my eyes diminished and with in my first application the ITCHINESS STOPPED!
-I bought it the day after and-the 3 pumps she pumped me I am still using 2 weeks later so I know its worth the 68.00 I payed.
B.Kamins Oxi-defense is soooooo major! Young or Old-This eye gel is just so wonderful feeling!

So we are all aware of Katey Perry and her wonderful bash with OPI-SHATTER a nail polish that crackles and gives tons of textures to any boring manicure-although no manicure is boring.
OPI-has released the color in black------But word is out THANK YOU FASHION WEEK NEW YORK GOSSIP QUEENS: OPI is supposedly coming out with a Shatter in Silver-OMFG.

Gone are the days of "artificially enhanced nails" as some would like to call it.

In are the days of short-oval nails with a friendly buff or a coating of a smooth lacquer.

On the runways we see strong bold colors all on short nails-or we see soft romantic color and men are even getting buffed out with a ridge free look.

George Clooney is rumored to use the Ridge Filler from nail goddess herself Deborah Lipman offering a masculine Mat-esque look. While my favorite Ridge Filler is from the queen of perfecting her click Chanel-The Base Coat "BASE PROTECTRICE"-

I generally always recommend a great buffing block like the one offered from O.P.I, but lately I am always on the go, and life doesn't allow me to always buff-I get away with the sheer beauty of this Chanel Goddess.

A lot of people seem to shy away from color that is not red or cranberry or sometime type of red in the winter-POO!

With all the great designer and color buyers we have out there to inspire or manicured hands or feet why would someone not want to indulge in what the color gods gave us:

MASH-SCARA REVIEW!!!!!

Having such extremely thin eyelashes that don't seem to want to keep a curl.
(Seriously my eyelashes have such attitude like a girl who never gets a pony for her birthday.)
makes me all sad and makes my eyes not as pretty as they could be.

I am always on the search for the no flaking, no smudging mascara ( the only reason my kit
is so replenished with Mascara is because I am always trying to find the right ones.)
I always-try to find more than product to do the same thing- just in case I am out and need to purchase another I can grab what is more readily available.

First and foremost My Shu Uemura Eyelash curl sent from the Long Eye Lash Goddess will always have a home in my kit-but remember peeps every six months replace the whole unit because of the hinge on it.
Some people keep it forever-but think of it as a tooth brush. you wouldn't keep your tooth brush for five years would you? if you do ewwww!
You don't want to damage your eyes or eyelashes-so it is always best to follow manufacturers directions.

Alot of people use a primer first before mascara and some people use the ones that are safe to curl with-WELL they all make my eye lashes fall except the Armani Lash Primer has so far been the best for me.

NOW ON THE MASH of MASH-SCARA!

Shu Uemura Mascara Basic has given me the most natural looking eye lashes with one of the best holds. I enjoy the look of it because of how natural it looks-I can build it up but it never gave me the spider lash look.

Shu Uemura Ultimate Mascara with the Unique Eight degree brush I like this one alot-although somedays it is heavy on my eyelashes I just love how black it looks on my eye lashes and makes them look thick but natural. It is also a Gel Formula so it wicks away water.

YSL-Effect Faux Cil 1w-that is what the bottom one says but it is great because this one is water proof and it really does give my eyelashes and weightless false eye lash effect-as mentioned earlier I get a little flaking but no smudging.

and last but not least:

Armani just had this event called the Wet Look- or Wet Eyes or something but the counter girl new that I was int he market for a brown mascara that was weightless and water resistant or proof. The limited edition eyes to kill mascara in brown copper color appeard more brown on me but did it ever curl my eye lashes, lengthen them and thicken them with no smudging or flaking and no irritation. It is now my go to mascara but will not make it in my kit because I just can not give it up. The black color is not limited edition.
Oh yeah-It totally feathered my eyelashes and im a total Glamazon with it.
